FAQs

Do you offer both ongoing maintenance and one-off treatments?
Yes — both, with no obligation to commit to a plan. Many clients start with a one-off scarification and move to a care plan once they see the results.
Can I cancel a care plan?
Yes — 30 days' written notice to cancel. No penalties, no minimum term. We'd rather earn your loyalty than lock it in contractually.
When is the best time to scarify?
September to October — soil is still warm enough for seed germination, and there's enough growing season for recovery before winter.
Do I need to be home for visits?
No. Most clients are out when we come. We access via an agreed gate, leave a report card, and you see the results when you get home.
My lawn looks terrible after scarification — is that normal?
Yes, completely. Scarification removes significant material. The lawn looks worse before it looks better. New growth fills in within 4–6 weeks.
My lawn has bare patches — which service do I need?
A one-off overseeding treatment in autumn. If the bare patches are significant we'll assess the cause first — shade, compaction, or drainage — and treat accordingly.
Do you collect grass clippings?
Yes — all clippings removed from site. In dry conditions we may mulch-cut, returning nutrients to the soil. We'll advise which suits your lawn.
